We are Mark and Beth Bendickson of Hillsboro, Oregon, USA and this is our web site.
Portland is known as the "Rose City" of the Pacific Northwest, and in Oregon we are blessed with an abundance of scenic and diverse landscapes, spectacular ocean vistas, majestic volcanic peaks, fertile farm land, high desert landscapes and of course... rain.
In an average year we get approximately 45 inches of precipitation per year, which in turn keeps everything so green and lush.

Hillsboro is located 15 miles west of Portland in western Washington County, which became the home to many of the pioneers who traveled west on the Oregon Trail in the late 1800's.
Like those before us who homesteaded here, we too have made this part of the country our home.
